The property is generally
located east of Fiona Avenue and north of 120th Street, and legally
described as part of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and the NW 1/4
of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4, T31N, R21W, Washington County, MN. Mr.
Anderson owns 20 acres at this site, and intends, following successful
rezoning of the site, to subdivide the parcel into one 5 acre parcel
immediately surrounding his home, and one 15 acre parcel, which he would
transfer to the Oneka Ridge golf Cour=_e. There were no oral or written
comments regarding this request. At this time, the City Attorney stated
that a PUD (Planned Unit Development) would accomplish the same results,
and would not create a "spot zoning" situation.
Stoltzman made motion, Brunotte seconded, to table action on the rezoning
request, and direct the Planning Commission to hold a public hearing for -
consideration of a PUD.
All aye.
