MIN <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Howard Kuusisto <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the minutes for the <br />regular City Council meeting of May 17, 1993, as submitted' <br />All aye' Motion Carried' <br />Leroux made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the claims for June 7, <br />1993, in the amount of $39,691.48' <br />All aye' Motion Carried. <br />CHARITABLE GAMBLING APPLICATION - ST. JOHNS CHURCH <br />The Church of St. John the Baptist, 14383 Forest Blvd', has applied for an <br />exemption from lawful gambling license to conduct bingo, pull tabs, and <br />raffles, on church property. This church has held such authorization for <br />a number of years and staff recommends approval. <br />Leroux made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the Application for <br />Authorization for Exemption from Lawful Gambling License for the Church of <br />St. John the Baptist, 14383 Forest Blvd., for their annual festival to be <br />held on August 22° 1993' <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Robert McElmury has applied for a permit to sell On Sale 3.2 beer at <br />his business located at 4444 129th St' North. Mr' McElmury recently <br />purchased the Lakeview Inn, which has held a 3.2 beer license for a number <br />of years. Staff recommends approval of the permit. <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the 3.2 beer license for <br />Robert McElmury to sell beer at his business known as Bobber's Boats & <br />Rental, located at 4444 129th Street North. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />A public hearing was held at 7:10PM to consider amending Chapter 266 of <br />the Hugo City Code to authorize issuance of sign permits by the City's <br />building inspector when applications for such permits meet all <br />requirements of city code- The public hearing was opened, and there were <br />no oral or written comments' <br />
