MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF NOVEMBER. 2. 199 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:(--)(:) PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, BrUnotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Bob Museus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Barnes made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the minutes for the City <br />Council meeting of October 19, 1992, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Miron made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve the claims for November <br />, 1992 in the amount of $187,746.29. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />DEDICATION OF HUGO FIRE TRUCK <br />Time was set aside for the City Council to recognize the delivery of a new <br />1,250 -gallon per minute pumper truck to the Fire Department. The vehicle <br />was purchased from General Safety Equipment Corporation at a contract <br />price of $180,215.i)() plus $2,695 in Change Orders, for a total purchase <br />price of182,91��.����. <br />Brunotte made motion, Miron seconded, that the City of Hugo accepts, with <br />pride, the new 1992 Peterbilt pumper fire truck.. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING (HENNA AVENUE ASSESSMENT) <br />A public hearing was held to consider the assessment to adjacent property <br />owners for a portion of the cost to improve Henna Avenue. At the October <br />5, 1992 Council meeting, it was determined to assess $5.61 per front <br />footage against benefited property owners. The public hearing was opened, <br />and there were no oral or written objections. Vince Niemczyk asked how <br />the assessment was to be paid. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Miron seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 92-3(--), <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR THE HENNA AVENUE P.I. PROJECT. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, LerOUX, Miron, Stoltzman <br />Motion Carried. <br />MAF.IER SUBDIVISION <br />On October 28, 1992, the Hugo Planning Commission considered an <br />application by Narcisse and LUVerne Marier, and recommended approval to <br />subdivide their property located at 58�►1 147th Street North into two <br />parcels. The two lots meet the size regUiremerit:.s in the SFU zone. <br />Miron made motion, LeroUX seconded, to approve •klieg minor subdivision for <br />Narcisse and LUVerne Marier, 5E301 147th Street, to subdivide their <br />property into two lots in the SFU district. Approval i.s subject to <br />payment of the $175.00 parkland dedication fee. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
