MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF NOVEMBER 16,199q <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Bob MUseus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Leroux made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the minutes for the <br />regular City Council meeting of November 2, 1992, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Brunotte made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the minutes for the <br />Board of Canvass held on November 4, 1992, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Miron made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the claims for November 16, <br />1992, in the amount of $109,685.67. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />RESOLUTION CHANGING NAME OF MARTIN AVENUE <br />An error has been discovered in the naming_ of a street in the Rice Lake <br />Meadows Subdivision, recently approved by the Council. The City of Hugo <br />has adopted the Uniform Street Naming and Property Numbering System for <br />Washington County, which specifies the names giving to all streets and <br />avenues, in relationship to the geographic location. Martin Avenue, as <br />listed on the approved plat for the subdivision, should actually be named <br />Glenbrook Avenue, under the City's street -naming system. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Brunotte seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1992-=2, <br />RESOLUTION CHANGING THE STREET NAME IN THE RICE LAME MEADOWS SUED. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman <br />Motion Carried. <br />BESA PERMIT <br />The DESA has applied to renew their permit for operation of a shooting <br />range on their property located at the E 1112 of the SW 1/4 of Section ?'. <br />T31N, R21W, in Hugo, MN. Staff has reviewed their operation for the last <br />two years, under their existing SUP, and found the association <br />substantially in compliance with their- permit. Two complaints have been <br />filed over their operation during the last year, both in regard to the <br />noise associated with the facility. Eased on the association's <br />long-standing use of the property for a shooting range, the cooperation <br />exhibited by the DESA, and the record of compliance with the permit, staff <br />recommends renewal of their SUP for two years under the existing <br />conditions. <br />Miran made motion, Brunotte seconded, to renew the SUP for the Fuld Eagle <br />Sportsman Association for a two-year period to operate a shooting range at <br />the E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Section =3, T7.1N, R21W. <br />All aye.
