<br /> <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, Community Development Director Rachel <br />Juba, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer Mark Erichson, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br /> <br />Moment of Silence <br /> <br />Haas requested a moment of silence to remember Carlos Wilcox, 27, of Cottage Grove; Daniel <br />Drevnick, 22, of Woodbury; and James Wertish, 20, of Olivia, who were killed in a missile <br />attack in Iraq on July 16, 2009. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes for the July 2, 2018 Gravel Roads Workshop <br /> <br />Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the minutes for the Gravel Roads Workshop <br />held on July 2, 2018, as presented. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approval of the Agenda <br /> <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the agenda as amended by moving the <br />Culpepper & Merriweather Circus from “Administrative Presentations” to “Appointments and <br />Presentations”; and adding approval of a Letter of Credit reduction for Fable Hills 5th Addition, <br />approval of an Offsite Gambling Permit for Merrick, Inc to conduct Purse Bingo at the American <br />Legion; approval of a Wetland Replacement Plan for Schwieters Company; and an update on the <br />One Water Summit. <br /> <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Donation from Bald Eagle Sportsman Association to Hugo Yellow Ribbon Network <br /> <br />The Bald Eagle Sportsman Association (BESA) collected donations at their open house event <br />held in June. Nick Baumann, Vice President of the Bald Eagle Sportsman Association, presented <br />a donation of $674 to the Hugo Yellow Ribbon Network. Nick shared pictures from the event <br />and stated that, even though it rained, there were nearly 1,000 people who attended.
