Motion carried <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes for the May 18, 2020, City Council Meeting <br /> <br />Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the regular City Council <br />meeting held on May 18, 2020, as presented. <br /> <br />Roll call vote – all ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda <br /> <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the agenda as amended by staff by adding the <br />scheduling of a neighborhood meeting on the proposed Public Works facility <br /> <br />Roll call vote – all ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Update on COVID-19 City Response <br /> <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear provided an update on how the City was responding to the <br />Governor’s orders regarding the coronavirus pandemic. He reviewed the circumstances in which <br />virtual meetings can take place, and he provided information on how the public could participate. <br />The Governor’s Executive Order 20-63 transitioned the state into Phase II of the Stay Safe Plan, <br />which allowed for barbershops and salons to be open with restrictions, restaurant and bars open <br />for outdoor service with restrictions, and it provided new guidelines for youth sports and <br />programs. He explained most Hugo bars and restaurant were not planning to be open due to <br />these restrictions, but staff had offered the City’s assistance if they wished to modify their plans <br />and open. Youth sports and programs must have a COVID preparedness plan.
