55 <br />MINWES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL <br />June 17, 1985 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Hauer, Peltier, Potts, Schwab, McAllister <br />Engineer - Howard Kuusisto <br />3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the minutes of the Special <br />Meeting of June 3, 1985, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of June 3, 1985, after the following change has been made: <br />Page 52 (5.2) - Let the record show that it is clear nothing should be done <br />with the 40 decibel requirement this year. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to approve the General Claims for <br />June 17, 1985, as submtitted. <br />MOTION: Peltier made motion, Hauer seconded, to approve the Utility Claims for <br />June 17, 1985, with the following addition: <br />Alan J. Flater - $78.75 <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES <br />5.1 Brown's Creek Aareement <br />The Council had just received Attorney Johnson's comments on the agreement at tonight's <br />meeting. It was his recommendation to not approve the agreement until certain matters <br />could be addressed. A special meeting will most probably be necessary to iron -out <br />the questions raised by the attorney. Dave Truex, Hugo's mnmissioner, would like <br />to have Nile Kriesel and Doug Thomas present at this special meeting. Mr. Truex <br />will be attending the meetings regarding Brown's Creek, but not as an official commis- <br />sioner, until the agreement is signed. <br />5.2 Russell Jarousek - Special Use Permit <br />Mr. Jarousek, 17400 Henna Avenue, would like to operate a hobby -type sawmill on his <br />122 acres located in the AG zone. The Planning Commission reccmTended approval with <br />certain conditions. Councilman Potts had no problem with the operation, as such, <br />but wanted to see the number of employees limited to one in order to prevent a <br />"business" from starting up. Councilmen Hauer and Schwab did not feel that three <br />
