MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL February 2, 1981 The meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 6:18 PM. PRESENT: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfeld, Vail Also - Attorney Johnson and Engineer Kuusisto ABSENT: Schletty There was general discussion of financing and the proposed improvement project in the Bald Eagle Industrial Park. 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the minutes of January 19, 1981 , as submitted. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfeld, Vail MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by McAllister, to apporve the minutes of the Special Meeting of January 22, 1981 , as submitted. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfeld, Vail MOTION CARRIED 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by McAllister, to approve the General Claims for February 2, 1981 , with the addition of Mr. Charles Johnson in the amount of $2,505.54. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfeld, Vail MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the Utility Claims for February 2, 1981 , as submitted. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfeld, Vail MOTION CARRIED 5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES The Washington County Solid Waste Committe is seeking an appointment of a city representative. They are getting close to the making of some final recommendations, and they have requested that the city reappoint Mr. Dan Spitzer to the position. Mr. Spitzer has already served on this committee for some length of time, and he has agreed to serve the city in this capacity. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City of Hugo appoint Mr. Dan Spitzer as Hugo's representative to the Washington County Solid Waste Committee, and notify Commissioner Lester Rydeen and Paul Brandt of this action. VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Irsfeld, Vail MOTION CARRIED
