MINUTES OF 1'HC REGULAR MEl!rTING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LJTTLR CANADA, MINNI';SOTA <br />FEBRUARY l4, 2002 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 14`x' day of <br />February, 2002 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />the Following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll <br />call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Uan Knudsen <br />Mr Tom Wojcik <br />MEMBERS AF3SENT <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Roycraft <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES T'he minutes of the January 10, 2001 Planning Commission meeting <br />were approved as submitted. <br />VARIANCE - Mr. Sam Roberto appeared before the Commmission requesting a setback <br />SAVAGI'r LANT:,/ variance for a house he would like to construct on the northwest corner <br />ROSC PLACE - of Savage Lane and Rose Place. Roberto indicated that he would like to <br />SAM ROB,ERTO construct asingle-family house on the property. [-le is requesting the <br />variance as well as a vacation of a portion of Savage Lane and Rose Place <br />right-of--way in order to avoid some poor soils on his property. <br />Keis noted that at the last Commission meeting there was discussion about <br />whether or not there was a wetland on the property. From the information <br />received from the Watershed, it appears there is no designated wetland on <br />the Roberto property. <br />Roberto replied that that was correct, and Karl Hammers of the Watershed <br />confirmed that there was no designated wetland on the property. <br />
