MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 14, 2000 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 14'" day of <br />September, 2000 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following <br />members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Ms. Faith Kraemer <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES There being no corrections to the August 10, 2000 Planning Commission <br />minutes, those minutes stand approved as submitted. <br />AMENDMENT The Planning Commission reviewed the application for Amendment to <br />TO CUP & a Conditional Use Permit allowing the expansion of outdoor storage <br />VARIANCE - area and a Variance allowing a second driveway access on Spruce Street <br />182 RYAN LANE - (both driveways are proposed at 32 feet in width) for 182 Ryan Lane <br />JANIS EVANS as requested by Janis Evans. <br />Janis Evans appeared before the Commission and reported that the second <br />driveway access is needed on Spruce Street in order to maneuver trucks in <br />and out of the property. Evans also explained that they wanted to expand <br />the outdoor storage making it parallel to the building rather than parallel to <br />the street as what was previously approved by the City. <br />The City Planner pointed out that there can be no outdoor storage within <br />the 40-foot required front yard, and the new plan does meet this <br />requirement. <br />
