MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 14, 2019 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 14th day of <br />November, 2019 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Bill Buesing called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and the following <br />members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING <br />Mr. Bill Buesing <br />COMMISSION: <br />Mr. Nick Schwalbach <br />Ms. Taelor Johnson <br />Mr. Chris Is'-wapick <br />Mr. Eric Thorson <br />Ms. Dawn Kulousek <br />ABSENT: <br />Ms. Nicole Westadt <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Ms. Heidi Heller, City Cleric <br />MINUTES The October 10, 2019 Planning Commission Workshop and October 10, <br />2019 regular meeting minutes were approved as submitted. <br />CONDITIONAL USE The City Cleric stated that Vehitech Fleet Service is seeking a Conditional <br />PERMIT AT 53 Use Permit to allow major automobile repair at 53 Woodlynn Avenue, which <br />WOODLYNN is zoned I-1, Light Industrial. She explained that auto repair is allowed as a <br />AVENUE; Conditional Use in the I-1 District. She stated that the City licenses auto <br />APPLICANT: repair businesses, but there is no limit on the number of auto repair licenses <br />VEHITECH FLEET that can be issued. She noted that there is a limit on the number of auto sales <br />SERVICE licenses. She explained that Vehitech currently leases space in Roseville, but <br />need to move since the property is being redeveloped. <br />The City Cleric explained that 53 Woodlynn Avenue currently has a valid <br />CUP for outdoor storage. She stated that Vehitech would use outdoor <br />storage for two tire cages and up to 20 vehicles that are all operable. She <br />noted that all of the outdoor storage proposed meets the allowances. She <br />reviewed the Zoning Code requirements for major auto repair and stated <br />that staff is satisfied that all of the requirements are met, except for the <br />requirement of screening or an enclosure for water and recycling materials. <br />She stated that there is currently no screening or enclosure for dumpsters. <br />
