Motion carried.
SPOONER PARK RE- GRADING REQUEST BY CANADIAN DAYS UPDATE
Morelan said this project should be discussed at a later meeting in the spring, possibly April
or later. Sanders showed the commissioners the proposed regrading area on a large map of
Spooner Park and stated it might be best to have the grading done after the 2011 Canadian
Days weekend.
Sanders reported he will contact the City Engineer to coordinate this project with the other
city projects to acquire the dirt needed to fill the valleys before grading into a flatter area to
the south of the pavilion, if the project moves forward.
Lolmaugh voiced some concern as to whether there would still be the snow hill for kids to
use for sledding. Sanders commented that the project would not be filling all the slopes in
the park and there would still be some hills for sledding.
