MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 12, 2014 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of <br />June, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Steve Ledin <br />Ms. Jennifer Maleitzke <br />Ms. Heidi Murphy <br />Mr. Nick Schwalbach <br />ABSENT: Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Kevin Helander, Cable TV <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />MINUTES The April 10, 2014 Planning Commission meeting minutes were approved <br />as submitted. <br />CUP — The City Planner reported that Dan Stockness, Stockness Properties, has <br />3065 SPRUCE applied for a Conditional Use Permit for outdoor storage on his site <br />STREET — located at 3065 Spruce Street. The City Planner noted that the property <br />STOCKNESS had been zoned Industrial -Park (I -P) District which allows a limited <br />PROPERTIES amount of outdoor storage. The property owner requested and was <br />granted a rezoning to Light -Industrial (1-1) District, and the outdoor <br />storage requested meets the I-1 District standards. The Planner indicated <br />that staff is recommending approval of the CUP as requested. <br />Fischer asked if Mr. Stockness had any issues or concerns with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in his June 6, 2014 <br />report. Dan Stockness indicated that he did not and would abide by the <br />outdoor storage rules for I-1 property. <br />
