Gray felt that the
city has already released pai•C of its park land to the Watershed in order for them to build their
offices. He felt that waiving the park charge would be above and beyond what is reasonable.
The Director stated that Aichinger has already called him to get his opinion on this issue. The
Director told Aichinger that although he appreciates all of the work that the Watershed has done
for the city, he would not supporC waiving the park charge. The city has always been protective
of our park dedication fee and tries to collect it whenever we can. He felt that the work they
have done for the city in the past is part of their mission and the service they provide. They
would probably have done the same for anyone within their watershed that needed the service.
