Johnson, B. Wessel, J. Bergeson, J. Milbauer, <br /> J. Schwartz, F. Johnson, H, Juni <br />MEMBERS <br />ABSENT: G. Rehbein, F. Chase, P. Rickaby, D. Gorowsky <br />OTHER <br />PRESENT: M. Divine, D. Carlson <br /> <br />GENERAL/MINUTES <br /> <br />The next scheduled meeting is June 3. Mr. Jerry Moffit introduced himself to the board. <br />He is a Lino Lakes resident starting a business in Lino Lakes and is interested in creating <br />an incubator program within the city. <br /> <br />II. NEW MEMBER <br /> <br />Mr. Wessel introduced Howard Juni who informed the board about his background. He is <br />currently vice president of Omnicare Pharmacy. <br /> <br />III. ELECTION OF CHAIRPERSON <br /> <br />ACTION TAKEN: Mr. Gorowsky nominated Fred Chase as chairperson. Mr. Milbauer <br />seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Mr. Jensen nominated Don Gorowsky <br />as vice-chair. Mr. Milbauer seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />IV. UPDATES <br /> <br />CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br />Mr. F. Johnson informed the board that the Lino Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce was <br />incorporating into a nonprofit organization. They will begin a membership drive. Their <br />major issues are the Comp Plan, helping new businesses coming into the city, the YMCA, <br />and prospect development. They are offering memberships for individuals and business <br />and anticipate approximately 200 members. <br />
