June 15, 1977 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board was called to order <br />at 8:25 P.M. on June 15, 1977 by Chairman Gourley. Members present: Karth, Schwankl, <br />Reinert, Nadeau, Gourley. Members absent: Shearen and Hill. Mr. McLean, Council <br />Liason was also present. <br />The minutes of the May 18, 1977 meeting were considered. Mr. Karth requested that a <br />sentence be added to paragraph twelve, page 3 reading, "The Board had reservations about <br />this request because there was a fire on this property in 1976 and cost the City a great <br />deal of money." Mr. Nadeau moved to approve the minutes as amended by Mr. Karth. Mr. <br />Karth seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. <br />The minutes of the May 31, 1977 meeting were considered. There was not a quorum pre- <br />sent and the minutes need not be approved. <br />Mr. Reinert asked that the Clerk notify all Planning and Zoning Board members by tele- <br />phone of all special meetings.' Yy <br />Mr. McLeans Report <br />Mr. McLean reported that the hearing for Rice Lake Addition was held May 23, 1977 and <br />accepted by the City Council upon receipt of the approval of the Anoka County Highway <br />Department. <br />Mr. McLean noted that he had met with Mr. Kronholm regarding the park dedication in <br />the Country Lakes area. He will have a further report later this evening. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Gourley requested a variance and was approved subject to a 30' easement <br />for road purpose. <br />Mrs. Witte request for a variance to correct a pre-existing illegal land split was <br />approved. <br />Mrs. Kline's request for a variance:tosplit a lot in the Lexington Park Lakeview area <br />was approved. <br />Mr. McLean noted that Mr. & Mrs. Tauer presented a request for a variance to split a <br />lot and was told that a correct legal description was needed. <br />Mr. Fran Burque requested a variance to split a parcel of his property and it was app- <br />roved. <br />Mr. Vernon Walberg requested a variance to split a parcel off his property. He was <br />told he would need a legal description. <br />Mr. Warren Solheid had requested a Special Use Permit and was told by the Council that <br />he did not need a Special Use Permit. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold's letter regarding Mr. Glenn Rehbein's operation was noted. Mr <br />and Mrs. Reinhold were told that Mr. Rehbein's operation met all City Ordinances and <br />that any other problems would be a civil matter and they should contact their personal <br />lawyer. <br />Mr. Minkveld has presented a preliminary plat concept for information and will return <br />to the Planning and Zoning Board and will prepare a preliminary plat for their consid- <br />eration. <br />
