The Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board meeting of January 13, 1969 was called to <br />order by Chairman Aehbein at 8:30 p.m. with Brovold, Stanley, Rehbein and Jester <br />present. Those absent were VoLean, Belling and Husnik. <br />A publto hearing was held for the purpose of rezoning 1.7 scree et the corner of 35K <br />and Main Street fran residential to commercial. Two representatives from the DX Ser- <br />vice Stations were present to request the rezoning and a variance. Mr. Locher stated <br />that the proper notices had been mailed and published and all prerequisite requirements <br />had been met for the hearing. <br />Mr. Stanley moved to recommend to the Couaoil the rezoning of the land having the <br />following legal description: <br />That pert of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township <br />31, Range 22 described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection <br />of the South line of County State Aid Highway No. 14 and the Easterly right - <br />of-way line of Interstate Highway No. 35E; thence Bast along said South line <br />of County State Aid Highway No. 14 a distance of 200 feet; thence at a right <br />angle South 250 feet; thence at a right angle Neat 298.22 feet to said East- <br />erly right- of-+way line of Interstate highway No 35E; thence Northerly along <br />said Easterly right -of -way line 275.62 feet to the point of beginning. <br />and also to grant a variance on said property. Seconded by Mr. Jester. Carried. <br />The Chairman ruled that the election of a new chairman and vice - chairman would be <br />held at the February meeting because three membera were absent. <br />A letter was reed Pram Mr. Kenneth Rehbein requesting a variance to build a house on a <br />lot less than 2 1/2 acres at the corner of Fourth and Pine which is also commeroial <br />property. He stated that there would be no basement; the house would have frost footings. <br />Mr. Jester moved to recommend to the Council that they grant a variance to Mr. Kenneth <br />Rehbein for a lot at Fourth and Pine having the following legal description: <br />That part of the NW 1/4 of Section 5, Township 31, Range 22, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the NW corner of said NW <br />1/4 of Section 5; thence southerly, along the westerly line of said NW 1/4, <br />a distance of 800° to the point of beginning; thence continuing southerly, <br />along said westerly line of NW 1/4, a distance of 200' thence easterly, at <br />right angles, a distance of 208'; thence northerly at right angles, a <br />distance of 208'; thence westerly, at right angles, a distance of 208' to <br />point of beginning. Subject to Fourth Avenue. <br />Seconded by Mr. Stanley. Carried. <br />recommend to the Council <br />Mr. Keith Apits appeared to request a variance for 25.*eet of land to be added to his <br />present property on Biroh Street. Mr. Jester moved grant a variance to Mr. Apits <br />on 25 feet of land having the following legal description: <br />That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, Section 30, <br />Township 31, Range 22, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the South line of said tract and the <br />centerline of State Highway No. 49 as now established; thence East along <br />said South line and the centerline of a public road for 433 feet to the <br />point of beginningof the treat of land to be hereby described; thence con- <br />tinuing East along said line for a distance of 25 feet; thence North at <br />right angles for a distance of 170 feet; thence West parallel with the <br />first course for 25 feet; thenoe South 170 feet to the point of beginning. <br />Seconded by Mr. Brovold. Carried.
