• <br />• <br />PLANNING & ZONING BOARD <br />November 12, 1986 <br />Chairman Doocy called to order the regular meeting of the Lino <br />Lakes Planning and Zoning Board at 7:00 P.M. Members present: <br />Prokop, McLean, Nelson, Averbeck. Mrs. Klaus arrived at 7:12 <br />P.M. Members absent: Cody. Building Inspector, Pete Kluegel; <br />Planners, Johnson and Wuornos; Council member, Bisel and Clerk - <br />Treasurer, Marilyn Anderson were also present. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES - OCTOBER 8, 1986 <br />Mr. Prokop moved to approve the minutes as presented. Mrs. Aver - <br />beck seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />No one appeared under Open Mike. <br />BUILDING OFFICIAL'S REPORT <br />Mr. Kluegel informed the Board of the dates for the Annual Planning <br />Institute and recommended that some Board members attend the Decem- <br />ber 12th or January 21st session. <br />The following Council October 27th actions were reported: <br />- Approved the Paul Wolters site and building plans as recommended <br />by this Board. <br />- Approved the Ed Vaughan minor subdivision request as recommended <br />by this Board. <br />- Approved the Schubert advertising sign request as recommended by <br />this Board. <br />Mr. Doocy asked if the building specifications ordinance has been <br />considered by the Council. Mr. Kluegel explained that this will <br />be addressed at the Strategic Planning Session. Mr. Bisel told <br />the Board that their input on this matter will be requested. <br />AMENDED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - BOB KOHL <br />Mr. Kohl operates Bob's Auto Ranch at 6020 Hodgson Road. He is re- <br />questing an Amended Conditional Use Permit so that he can enlarge <br />his display area for the sales lot. He is proposing to remove and <br />relocate a portion of the fence that now screens cars waiting for <br />repairs and blacktop this area similar to the display lot. Mr. <br />Kluegel explained Mr. Kohl has complied to all the conditions of <br />his original conditional use permit and there have been no complaints <br />about this operation. <br />Mr. Kohl explained that his business is expanding and he wishes to <br />enlarge his display area from approximately fifteen cars to approxi- <br />mately sixty cars.
