• <br />• <br />Planning and Zoning Board <br />August 10, 1983 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board was <br />called to order August 10, 1983 at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Prokop with <br />the following members present: Goldade, Ostlie, Klaus, Prokop, Doocy, <br />Cody. Absent: McLean. <br />MINUTES - JULY 13, 1983 <br />On considering the minutes of July 13, 1983, Mrs. Klaus noted that on <br />Page 7, paragraph 7, discussion on the extension of the street in the <br />Rice Lake Estates, should this be clarified - they have contacted Mr. <br />Schmitz and he did not seem to have any problems. Page 1, paragraph 2, <br />under 'Goertz Conditional Use Permit' the date should read 'May 12, 1982" <br />Page Three, paragraph 6, delete "Motion declared passed ", rewrite actions <br />to clarify. last paragraph, page three, 1st line change word 'would' <br />to 'should'; page 5, 4th paragraph, change 'assessory' to accessory'; <br />last paragraph change word 'necleous' to 'nucleus' <br />Mrs. Klaus moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. <br />Goldade. Motion carried unanimously. <br />UPDATE - MR. KLUEGEL <br />Mr. Kluegel noted that the zoning map is official and each member should <br />have a copy. Mr. Prokop said he did not receive a copy and requested <br />that each member receive an up -to -date copy of the map, <br />Mr. Kluegel reported on the actions taken by the Council in reference <br />to the Rice Lake Estates. Mr. Prokop felt the P &Z would like some input <br />as to the tot -lot and the Park Board's recommendation for cash. <br />Mrs. Klaus asked if the P &Z does not have the right to recommend as to <br />the parks - Mr. Goldade wanted it understood that this Board was not <br />trying to take over the Park Board's responsibilities as to Parks - but <br />had felt this tot lot is needed and therefore made the recommendation. <br />EASEMENT - ELIASON <br />Mr. Eliason asked what is planned for access to his lot - he now has two <br />easements on his property. <br />Mr. Prokop pointed out the alignment of the roadways in the area on a <br />map and suggested that West Road be designed to go North, thus eliminating <br />the use of the existing easements. <br />Mr. Doocy felt this matter had been discussed approximately a year ago <br />and the general consensus of the P &Z was that the streets in the area <br />should go North and South /East and West and not zig -zag through the area. <br />Mr. Cody pointed out that no matter what the recommendations are from <br />this Board at the present time, they could be altered in the future and <br />he could be in trouble if he relied on these recommendations. <br />CORDELL - METES & BOUNDS SUBDIVISION <br />Mr. Kluegel presented the prior actions on this property.
