I <br />} February 3, 1982 <br />The regu1ar'meeting of the Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board scheduled for <br />January 20,, 1982 had been cancelled due to bad weather and rescheduled for <br />this date. <br />Planning and Zoning Board <br />This meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M, February 3, 1982 by Chairman <br />Johnson. Members present; Doocy, Klaus, Juleen, McLean. Absent; Prokop, <br />Goldade. (Mr. Prokop arrived at 8:10 P.M.) <br />MINUTES <br />Mr. Doocy moved to approve the minutes of December 16, 1981 as presented. <br />Seconded by Mrs. Klaus. Motion carried unanimously. <br />VICE - CHAIRMAN <br />Mr. Doocy moved to appoint Mr. McLean as Vice - Chairman. Seconded by Mr. <br />Juleen. Motion carried unanimously. <br />PLAT - R.M.T. <br />This plat is located on the South side of 79th Street just West of Lake Drive <br />and had been previously presented to the Planning and Zoning Board for their <br />consideration. At that time the lots had only 100 foot frontage and the <br />developer had been asked to to redesign with the required 150 foot frontage. <br />There was discussion on the width of the roadway and the exception of 79th <br />street - is this a City Street or is it still classified as a cart way? These <br />4/ matters are to be checked with Mr. Locher. <br />There was also discussion on the fact that this plat is located in the ER <br />area which requires a minimum lot size of 5 Acres. The Chairman will contact <br />the developer on this issue. <br />VARIANCE - GREGG OLSON <br />Mr. Olson is seeking a varinace to construct a new home on West Shadow Lake <br />Drive on the lakeside of the street. The concerns that were addressed were; <br />1) this lot does not meet 60% of the minimum development standards, 2) concern <br />over septic pollution of the lake, 3) area provided for an alternate septic <br />system, 4) the elevation of the lot. <br />After discussion of these issues, Mr. Prokop moved to recommend approval of <br />the variance dated 11/12/81. Seconded by Mr. Doocy. The motion was amended <br />to state the reasoning was based on the fact that the existing homes were <br />allowed to develop under the same circumstances and upon the positive <br />recommendations of the Building Inspector. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. <br />Olson was directed to attend the February 22, 1982 Council meeting. <br />NATHE - REZONE <br />Mr. Nathe proposes to rezone to R -3 a parcel of land where a single family <br />dwelling had been moved from one location on the land to another and remodeled <br />411making is feasible for this home to become a 4 -plex. <br />The Planning and Zoning Board was concerned that the building has no street <br />access - would have to use the proposed 49 Club Parking lot to get to the <br />proposed 4 -Plex.
