If there <br />are major areas of concern, then an EIS must be done by the developer. <br />There was discussion of historical sites - is there any problems <br />in this area? <br />Mr. Schumacher said, on private property, the preservation of these <br />sites can be requested, but there is no law to enforce this requirement. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the EAW for Rice Lake Estates and forward <br />to the appropriate agencies. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Benson noted the Fire Study meeting scheduled for 10:00 A.M. <br />this morning and felt that if the members have time, this is a very <br />important meeting to attend. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to adjourn. Mr. <br />Hawkins, Mr. Schumacher, Mr. Davidson, Mr. Wetzler, Mr. Kluegel, Mrs <br />Anderson, Mr. Volk and Mrs. Sarner were also present. <br />MINUTES - January 9. 1984 <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes of January 9, 1984 as presented. <br />Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Minutes - January 14, 1984 - Mr. Reinert moved to approve the minutes <br />of January 14, 1984 as presented. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />DISBURSEMENTS <br />Mr• Marier questioned the Anoka Job Training check - what is that for? <br />Mr. Schumacher said this is persons working under the M.E.E.D. program. <br />It was pointed out the amounts differ in the departments due to the <br />number of persons in that department and the hours they work. This <br />City pays one dollar per hour plus worker's comp. <br />
