1 <br />1 <br />May 29, 1984 <br />233 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order <br />May 29, 1984, at 7:00 P.M. by Mayor Benson with all Council members <br />present. Also present, Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Kluegel, and Mrs. Sarner. <br />MINUTES - May 14. 1984 <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes of May 14, 1984 as presented. <br />Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried with Mayor Benson abstaining. <br />DISBURSEMENTS - May 29. 1984 <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz had several questions on the disbursements which were <br />answered by the City Clerk. Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the dis- <br />bursements as presented. Seconded by Mr. Reinert. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />There was no one to appear under this portion of the agenda. <br />PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD ACTIONS <br />Mr. Kluegel requested that a public hearing be set for June 25, 1984 to <br />consider the rezoning request of Bastien Products. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to set a public hearing for June 25, 1984 at 7:30 P.M. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Benson asked if these residents were aware of the fact that if <br />soemthing should happen to their home, it could not be replaced and Mr. <br />Kluegle said, Yes, they are aware of that fact. <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - Mr. Halstad - Kennel License. Mr. Kluegel <br />requested a public hearing be scheduled for this consideration. Mr. Marier <br />moved to set a public hearing for June 25, 1984 at 8:00 P.M. Seconded <br />by Mr. Bohjanen. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Marier made the comment <br />that the Planning and Zoning Board should be advised this type of con- <br />sideration is becoming much too frequent. Mr. Kulaszewicz suggested a <br />meeting be scheduled with the Planning and Zoning Board in order to make <br />the Council's concerns known. Mayor Benson agreed and said this could be <br />discussed under new business. <br />SITE AND BUILDING PLANS - JAMES PROPERTIES - Mr. Kluegel noted these plans <br />had been reviewed by the Planning adn Zoning Board and they had recommended <br />approval. Mr. Davidson had reviewed the on -site septic system and the <br />Council has a copy of those recommendations. <br />After some discussion, Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the site and <br />building plans per the Planning and Zoning Board's recommendations. <br />Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Kluegel gave a status report on the various projects in process to <br />include The 49 Club, Mr. DuFours' home, Maudie's and A Well. There was <br />some discussion on the progress at Maudie's and Mr. Marier moved that all <br />items should be completed by June 15, 1984. <br />
