February 25, 1980 <br />67 <br />for single family dwellings. The Plannimg and Zoning Board did not ake any <br />action on this proposal. The general consensus of the Council was they had <br />no objections to this platting. <br />IMr. Gotwald presented a request from Brown & Cris, contractor for the utility <br />installation in the Lakes Add. area. Mr. Gotwald felt that if equipment <br />and materials are on the site, the partial payment could be considered. At <br />the present time only some equipment has been moved in. He would :consider <br />what has been done and have a recommendation for the Council by the next <br />Council meeting. <br />Mr. Gotwald also presented a eopy of a study done in conjunction to the areas <br />to the North draining inot the St. Paul sewer system that the people of St. <br />Paul are having to pay for the treatment. Mr. Gotwald said he had met with <br />one of the Engineers and felt that the portion of Lino Lakes would be removed <br />from that study. He pointed out that the portion of Lino Lakes included in <br />the study did not flowo in the direction that would affect the volumn of <br />water to the St. Paul area. <br />Mr. Locher had no report. Mrs. Elsenpeter suggested, that since no person is <br />available for membership on the Park Board, that this information be published <br />and interested person write to the City on this matter. She moved to adver- <br />tise in the Circulating Pines, Forest Lake Times and Mr. McLean added the <br />White Near Press. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion declared,'passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to authorize the First National Bank of St. Paul to act as <br />Paying Agent for the 1979 Improvement Project. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />IIIMr. McLean moved to adjourn. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Sarner, Clerk- Treasurer <br />March 10, 1980 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at <br />7:30 P.M. on March 10, 1980 by Mayor Gourley. Members present; Elsenpeter, <br />Jaworski, Kulaszewicz, McLean. Mr. Locher, Mr. Carley and Mr. Schumacher <br />were also present. <br />The minutes of February 11, 1980 and February 25, 1980 were approved as <br />presented with the adjournment time to be added to the minutes of February <br />25, 1980. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the disbursements as presented. Seconded <br />by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion declared passed. <br />Under comments from the audience, Mr. Pa Berry appeared to ask advise on <br />Ihow a parcel of land he owns cna be used. This land has no fromtage and only <br />an easement for access. He was told he would need to obtain 150' on astreet <br />or construct a road according to City specifications intothe property. <br />Mr. William Bohjanen appeared with a report from the Correctional Advisory <br />Committee that he has been serving. He asked the Council to supprot tWO <br />bills now before the Legislature - House File #119 and Senate File #234. <br />
