Mayor
Gourley stated this meeting is for the purpose of reviewing the 1980
real estate assessed valuation$.
Margie Roisum, City Assessor allld Mr. Gordie Starkey, from the Anoka County
Assessor's office was present to answer questions.
Mr. Marlin Hansen had some questions on the plat of Otter Lake Estates. There
was a question on the three year limitation for the values on newly platted
property. Mr. Hansen said he had called and had been told the property
would remain frozen until the 1981 assessment year, Mrs. Roisum said the
plat was filed in 1977, thus 1980 is the first year for the valuation to be
raised. He will check the law on this matter and get back to Mrs. Roisum
on this matter.
There was some discussion on several of the parcels of land in this plat.
Mrs Roisum asked Mr. Hansen if she could make an appointment and look at
this land and Mr. Hansen agreed.
