December 22, 1980 <br />Chief Myhre was out of the Counciā€¢I Chambers - a recess was called - the meeting was <br />reconvened. <br />Chief Myhre noted that these bids went out quite a while ago and called in on the <br />15th of December. The lowest bidder was Frederick's GMC in the amount of $9,631.26. <br />Chief Myhre recommended approval of this bid. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz discussed briefly the matter of paying for this vehicle with a possibly <br />paying for this on a term contract. This has already been budgeted for the year 1981. <br />Mr. McLean moved to accept this bid. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried unanimous- <br />ly. Mr. McLean asked that Mr. Schumacher consider paying for this on installments. <br />Mr. Locher discussed several items with no official action taken. <br />Mr. Jaworski asked for consideration of this Council of the egress at Rocky's North. <br />He felt this driveway had been widened out to a dangerous point and felt that MDOT was <br />not aware of this situation. <br />Mayor Gourley said a meeting had been set up for some time in January - this can be taken <br />up at that time. <br />Under New Business, Cigarette Licenses for Lino Corner Store, J &K Liquor, and Hank's <br />Superette. Mr. McLean moved to approve. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />The contract for Police Coverage for the 1981 for Centerville was considered. Mr. <br />McLean moved to approve this contract and to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 10:45 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Aye. <br />These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at a regular meeting held on <br />January 12, 1981. <br />Edna L. Sarner Clerk - Treasurer <br />January 12, 1981 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:30 P.M. <br />by Mayor Gourley with all member present. Mr. Locher, Mr. Short, Mr. Meister, and Mr. <br />Schumacher were also present. <br />There were no corrections or additions to the minutes of December 22, 1980. The minutes <br />stand approved as presented. <br />On consideration of the disbursements, Mr. Jaworski questioned a check written to the <br />Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Schumacher explained that the Clerk had failed to deposit <br />a withholding check on time and this is an automatic fine. <br />
