July 8, 1974 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Council was called to order on July 8, 1974 <br />at 8:00 p.m. by Mayor Bohjanen. Councilmen present; Jaworski, Zelinka, Marier <br />and McLean. Mr. Locher and Mr. Gotwald were also present. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes of June 24, 1974 as written. Seconded by <br />Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />With the absence of the City Clerk, Mayor Bohjanen gave the Clerks report. <br />There was a letter from the Metropolitan Council about the Public meeting by the <br />Environmental and Transportation Committee, July 16, 1974 at 7:30 p.m. (All Council- <br />men have copies of this letter.) <br />Another letter from the Metropolitan Council in regards to the Development Framework <br />section of the Metropolitan Development Guide. The meetings setup will enable members <br />of the Metropolitan Council to discuss implementation issues with local leaders and <br />citizens. The scheduled meeting for our area will be July 11, 1974, 7:30 p.m. at <br />Blaine City Hall. <br />Mayor Bohjanen said there has been several inquires on the Natural Gas Rates for <br />the pump house, Maple St. and Country Lakes. <br />Mr. Zelinka stated that he had talked to Dave Collins and that we would be billed <br />at Natural Gas rates at the pump house for the time being. It would not be offical <br />because it is not a standard procedure with other Cities. <br />Mr. Zelinka reported that the gas lines were approved for Maple St. and Country <br />Lakes. They will contact the Clerk on the construction of the lines to be put in. <br />Mr. Marier suggested that this letter on construction be forwarded to the City from <br />North Central Gas Company. <br />Reported, $11,459.25 collected monies sent to the Metropolitan Sewer Board (S.A.C. <br />Fund) . <br />Reported that Senator John Milton will have a Citizen night meeting with the residants <br />of Lino Lakes, July 22, 1974 at 7:15 p.m. <br />Read a letter from Harvey L. Meredith in regards to a nuisance - namely discharge of <br />firearms. Mr. Marier suggested that the Police implement enforcement of the present <br />Ordinance. <br />Read a letter from the Fuel Allocation program. It will now be under the Energy Agency. <br />Our Fuel Coordinator will be given this information with the new address and phone <br />numbers. <br />Mayor Bohjanen stated that our Fuel Coordinator is making a list of fuel storage <br />resources now. He should have his report ready in 60 days or sooner. <br />Copies were sent of the Minnesota Open Meeting Laws to the County Attorneys. <br />Read the agreement between Emil Jandric sf U.S. Lakes Development and the City of <br />Lino Lakes covering the maintenance work on West Shadow Lake Drive. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
