Sarner, Clerk- Treasurer <br />January 8, 1979 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order <br />at 8:00 P.M. on January 8, 1979 by Mayor Karth. Council members present <br />Kulaszewica, McLean,Schneider, Zelinka. Absent; None. Mr. Locher was <br />also present. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved, to approve the minutes of November 27, 1978 as pre- <br />sented. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion declared passed with Mr. Zelinka <br />abstaining. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the minutes of December 11, 1978 as presented. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve the minutes of December 14, 1978 as presented. <br />Seconded by Mr. Scneider. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the minutes of December 26, 1978 as <br />corrected. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve the minutes of December 28, 1978 as corrected. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />The Clerk presented the following items for Council consideration: <br />..A letter from Mr. and Mrs. Alfio Santo of 1573 LaMotte Drive was read. <br />This letter asked for an extensions to the time schedule for connection to <br />the sewer. The residents had encountered problems with contractors last <br />Fall and informed the Council they plan to hook up in April of 1979. Mr. <br />Zelinka moved to grant Mr. and Mrs. Santo until the end of April to complete <br />their connerction. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />..A "Thank You" card from the Lioness Club for the use of the Hall for their <br />Christmas Party was read. <br />..A formal petition withdrawing the petition for consilidation between <br />the Cities of Centerville and Lino Lakes had been delivered to the City <br />Hall. Also, notice of the cancellation of the scheduled meeting on January <br />10, 1979 had been received and is posted. <br />..The December report from the Lexington Fire Department had been received <br />and is on file in the office. <br />The Clerk reported that she had contacted Mr. Odde and Mr. Berg at the <br />Metropolitan Waste Control Commission and after some discussion, the sewer <br />service charges had been adjusted downward from $569.89 to $325.49. Mr. <br />McLean moved the Clerk write to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission <br />and get a written statement with the new billing figures. Seconded by <br />Mr. Schneider. Motion declared passed. <br />Mayor Karth presented Mr. Kenneth Brown of East Rondeau Lake Road who <br />needs permission to enlarge his pig operation. He wants to construct a <br />
