274 June 25, 1979 Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. Chief Myhre was instructed to purchase the necessary uniforms. Mr. Locher was instructed to inform Mr. Kirschbaum's Attorney that no action will taken on Mr. Kirschbaum until this City has a Docotr's report with a positive answer. This City will not change it's positio on this matter. Chief Myhre said be would be on vacation beginning July 20, 1979 and asked for authorization to appoint Mr. Costa as Acting Sargent for that period of time. Mr. Zelinka so moved. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz Motion declared passed. On considering the requisitions, #917 and #918 are to be held, with #919, #920 and #912 approved. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve.. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve Checks #9745 through and including #9775. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. Mr. Zelinka moved to adjourn at 11:40 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Aye. These minutes were considered and approve at the regular Council meeting held on July 9, 1979. Edna L. Sarner, Clerk- Treasurer July 9, 1979 The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 8:00 P.M. on July 9, 1979, by Acting Mayor Schneider. Council members present; Kulaszewicz, McLean, Zelinka. Absent: Mayor Karth. Mr. Locher was also present. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the minutes of June 11, 1979 as presented. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. On considering the minutes of June 25, 1979, a quorum of the members present at that meeting was mot present at this meeting. The considera- tion of the minutes was deferred until the July 23, 1979 meeting. The Clerk presented the following items for Council consideration: ..A letter from the Metropolitan Council with informatio- on their review of Mardon Acres for Federal Funding. ..The Metropolitan Council has forwarded thepopulation estimate for 1979 for Lino Lakes. The estimated figure is 4660. ..The League of Minnesota Cities dues for the next year is &897.00. ..A letter from the City of Shakipee requesting information as to in- stallation of a major sewer and replacement of an old street. The Council felt this City could not offer any advice in these areas and the Clerk wil so inform them. ..Rice Creek Watershed Board had forwarded information as to the delay on plats. The following plats have been delayed for 30 days for further information; 1) Pine Oaks, 2) Shenandoah III, and 3) Peltier View. ..Information on the Class Action Suit being brought by Mr. Larry Noble
