166 <br />May 14, 1973 <br />Mr. Carley had no report. He returned the material sent in connection <br />with the radio tower and said that since there would be no change in the <br />land as such that they would have no report to make. <br />Under new business, Mr. Myhre had found a source for the purchase of <br />two resuscitators for about 110.00 to 120.00 each depending on the <br />numbered ordered. The one we have at the present time is very old and <br />al-most worn out and we should have new ones for the patrol cars. <br />He doesn't know the exact cost but would like approval from the Council <br />to purchase when the opportunity presents itself. When the cost is <br />established he will then submit a requisition. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to authorize Mr. Myhre to commit the V i I l age for the <br />purchase of two resuscitators not to exceed $140.00 each. Seconded <br />by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />A gentleman from the audience inquired about the request for the use of <br />Sunrise Park for a Square Dance Convention to be held in 1974. He <br />was told that it had been approved at the last Council meeting. He <br />then questioned the possibility of having close contact with the <br />Police Department just in case they were needed. He was told that this <br />should not present a p ro lbem since we have more personnel and <br />they should be availabel when needed. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve requistions #251 through 0261, holding 1262. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Segonded by Mr. Zel inka. <br />Minutes approved at the May 29, 1973 Meeting.A�/�f�c�c.� <br />Vi l lage Clerk- Treasurer <br />May 29, 1973 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council was called to <br />order at 8:00 P.M. on May 29, 1973 by Mayor Bohjanen. Councilmen <br />present; Cardinal, Jaworski, Marier, Zelinka. Mr. Locher was also <br />p resent. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the minutes of May 14, 1973 as presented. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried with Mr. Cardinal and Mr. Merier <br />abstaining. <br />The Clerk reported that she had received $22.50 in municipal court fines; <br />had a report from the Minnesota Department of Health concerning our <br />water system. She asked the Council their wishes on the maintenance contract <br />for the IBM typewriter. After discussion, Mr. Cardinal moved to buy <br />a maintenance contract on the new machine and to combine both typewriters <br />under the same contract. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />There was discussion on the request of the Minnesota Pipe Line Company <br />to install the second pipeline about 15' to the west of the existing line. <br />
