1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />January 28, 1974 <br />There was no new business. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve requisitions #364, 365, 369, 371, 372, & 373, holding <br />#366, 367, 368 & 370 for departmental signature. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion <br />carried. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to void checks #5470 & #5532 and issue a new check for that <br />portion of the bills that is for the City Hall gas usage, write to North Central <br />for clairfication of the charges at the Pumphouse (the new check will be number <br />5569) , and to approve payments of checks #5545 through' and including #5569. <br />Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. <br />2 <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve payroll checks #2291 through and including #2322. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to adjourn at 10:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. �Jrier. Aye. <br />The minutes approved at the meeting of February 11, 1974, J4GLAN_X-A-// <br />Clerk -Tr asurer <br />February 11, 1974 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at <br />8:05 p.m. by Mayor bohjanen. Councilmen present; Marier, McLean, Jaworski, <br />Zelinka. Mr. Locher and Mr. Gotwald were also present. Absent none. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to accept the minutes of January 28, 1974 as written. Seconded <br />by Mr. McLean. Motion carried with Mr. Jaworski abstaining. <br />Mayor Bohjanen presented Mr. Craig Mortell representing the Anoka County Council <br />of Economic Opportunity. <br />This Commissions purpose is to organize volunteers for Big Brother or Kinsmen <br />Organization. They also work with young people and senior citizens. They assist <br />in obtaining low cost health care. And at present they are located in 5 southern <br />cities. They are now located in Anoka County. <br />Mr. Mortell then asked the Council if they had any questions. <br />Mr. Jaworski stated that Mr. Dean Holcom was involved with the Kinsman Organization <br />from this area. <br />Mr. Mortell thanked the Council for listening and if they have any ideas to write <br />his office. <br />Mayor Bohjanen presented a letter from the Centerville Fire Department in regards <br />to the burning of cars on the property of Mr. LaMotte. <br />The letter read as follows: <br />The person who turned in the alarm did not have a definite address of the fire and <br />reported only a fire in a general area.
