The Village received a report of. charges for 1971 from the Metropolitan Sewer <br />Board. This includes communities, who do not have sewers but have capacity in <br />existing lines. Mr. L'Allier's recommendation was that we ask for a deferment <br />as the Village is undeveloped at this time. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to pay the bills as audited. Seconded. by Mr. Rosengren. <br />Motion was made to adjourn at 10:56 p.m. by Mr. Jaworski. Seconded by Mr. <br />Cardinal. Carried unanimously. <br />Affidavits of publication for Ord. No. 53 and the ad on weed cutting had been received. <br />The Clerk reported that a copy of the summons in the case of St. Paul Water Dept. <br />versus Cecil LaMotte, et al, had been delivered to her home by a Deputy Sheriff the <br />previous Saturday. She had been told that it was not a notice to appear in court, <br />but only a copy for our files; also, a signature was not required. After dis- <br />cussion, Mr. Cardinal moved to authorize the Attorney to check with the Sheriff's <br />office on the matter and to put in an answer in behalf of the Village. Seconded by <br />Mr. Rosengren. Carried unanimously. <br />
