This continuance would enable the Village to obtain previously <br />requested materials from-the Metropolitan Airports Commission) namely the <br />"Noise- Exposure Forecast Charts" (Exhibit 28A and 28B, also <br />listed as Figure 11 and 12 in )4r. Laymon Miller's Acoustics Report) <br />superimposed on a map of the Village of Lino Lakes; also to obtain <br />information as it related to the Lino Lakes School, particularly <br />to the effect of aircraft noise on the students; and further to <br />obtain information as it pertainsto the proposed expansion of the <br />Lino Lakes School now under consideration. <br />It is further requested that all future hearings on the Blaine and <br />Ham Lake sites be held within the County of Anoka with evening <br />hearings whenever possible. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried.unanimously. <br />The Clerk was instructed to write to W. Bob Martin, acknowledging his letter <br />read at this meeting and to request his thoughts on the Isanti site, with copies <br />sent to the Council. <br />Motion made by Mr. Jaworski, seconded by Mr. Roaengren, to adjourn at 11:15 PM. <br />Minutes approved at meeting of May 13, 19687% : _ `,c - 7 . 1 - , Clerk <br />The regular meeting of the Village of Lino Lakes Council was called to order <br />on May 13, 1968, at 8:10 PM. by Mayor L'Allier with all members present. <br />W. L'Allier announced that there would be a meeting the following night at the <br />Ham Lake Town Hall concerning the proposed airport. Among the speakers would be <br />Rep. Weaver, Senator Nelson and someone from the Conservation Department. <br />W. L'Allier also announced a meeting of the Anoka County Association of Munic- <br />ipalities to be held here on May 22. There will be discussion of annual elections; <br />Mr. Robert Bell, St. Paul Atty, who has been asked by Ramsey County to initiate <br />action on Rice Creek Watershed will speak; the Chairman of the Planning Subcommittee <br />to be discussed will be present. <br />W. Bohjanen moved that the minutes of the April 22 meeting be accepted as read. <br />Seconded by W. Jaworski. Carried. <br />A motion by Mr. Jaworski to accept the minutes of the special meeting on April <br />29 as corrected was seconded by Mr. Bohjanen and carried. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved that copies of the letter from James M. Ray Insurance con- <br />cerning coverage under the Mutual Aid Agreement be made and sent to all Council <br />members to file with their minutes, also to the Police and the CD and to Ilk - <br />kept in the Clerk's file. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. The Clerk was <br />asked to secure a similar letter from W. Bob Johnson concerning workmen's <br />compensation under the Mutual Aid Agreement. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Johnson and their attorney, W. Christopherson, were once <br />again present to ask for a building permit for their property off Baldwin Lake <br />Road.
