Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. <br />Carried. <br />Minutes were approved at the meeting of June 24, 196 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council held June 24, 1968, <br />was called to order by Mayor L'Allier at 8:07 PM with all members present. <br />Clerk <br />Mr. Cardinal made a motion to accept the minutes of the special June 20, 1968, <br />meeting as read. Seconded by Mr. Rosengren. Carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski made a motion to accept the minutes of the June 10, 1968, meeting <br />as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried. <br />A letter from North Central Public Service Company was read stating that they <br />have finished facilities on Main Street west of CenterVille to Fourth Avenue. <br />Because of the sod farms they do not plan to go to the city limits on Main St. <br />at the present time. They plan to extend on Centerville Road to Birch Street <br />this year. They have a survey on County Road J west of Number 49, a survey on <br />20th Avenue north and survey on Birch Street. The County Road J extension will <br />be in the 1969 program. Mr. Bohjanen stated that this is according to the map <br />that they previously sent us except that they had added the County Road J which <br />had previously been rejected. <br />The Bloomquist brothers presented the final plat map of Bloomquist Addition. <br />Mr, Bohjanen made a motion for a special hearing before the P&Z and the Council <br />on July 17 for Bloomquist Addition. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Mr. <br />Locher will check with the County Attorney for the search of title. <br />Mr. L'Allier announced that Elwood West had had a heart attack and is presently <br />much better. <br />The Park Board minutes were read. Mr. Jaworski questioned whether under the <br />proposed park ordinance a person subdividing five acres or less would be re- <br />quired to donate 10 percent. Mr. Locher replied that subdividing by metes and <br />bounds does not come under the ordinance, only platting. <br />Mr. Bohjanen stated that the C&BDC is still working on the brochure. <br />The P&Z minutes were read, stating that Mx. Leon Lillehaugen had presented <br />plans for developing the property on the corner of 8 & 49; W. E. P. Jester <br />had requested a variance. There was a question about whether there was a <br />commercial business operating on Aqua Lane. After discussion it was decided <br />that Aqua Floats Corporation, is doing assembling (light industrial work) and <br />that the property is not zoned commercial. It was decided that Mr. Cardinal <br />will talk to Mr. Klagget of Aqua Floats inviting him to bring legal descriptions <br />to the next meeting. <br />Mr. Rosengren reported that they had gravelled Holly and 12th and installed two <br />culverts on 80th. Also he received an offer from Craig Alexander to sell a <br />packer for $350 and a large tractor for $900; these were to be delivered for <br />a trial period. <br />1 <br />1 <br />
