Also <br />present were Mr. Ernie Kiss, county appraiser, and Mr. Gayle Leone, deputy <br />county assessor, and Mrs. Sarner, Lino Lakes assessor. The Clerk showed that <br />the meeting had been published and posted as required by law. <br />No persons showed up to complain about taxes. There was some discussion of <br />taxes from and evaluation of trailer courts with Mr. Leone stating, in his <br />personal opinion, that trailer courts more than pay their way. <br />There was discussion of normal appreciation of property due to increases in <br />construction costs. The value of houses surrounding an airport usually goes <br />up. Mr. Leone was in favor of the new airport because of the increase in rev- <br />enue it would bring to Anoka County. Mr. Leone stated that in other cities <br />carbon copies of building permits go directly to the assessor. <br />The tax - review certification was signed by the Councilmen and the Clerk. <br />Mr. L'Allier thanked the gentlemen for coming to the meeting. <br />Mr.'Bohjanen moved to adjourn at 8:32. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Minutes approved at meeting of July 8, 1961.,,,,t <br />,Clerk <br />The July 8,. 1968, regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council was called <br />to order at 8:06 P.M. by Mayor L'Allier with all members present. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to accept the minutes of the June 24 meeting as corrected. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />The motion to accept the minutes of the Board of Review meeting of June 25 was <br />made by Mr. Bohjanent.with second by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />Mr. L'Aliier mentioned that the State had painted double yellow lines on Highway8 <br />near Highway 326 and that "no passing" signs had been put up. Mr. Rosengren noted <br />that a street light might not be,installed until Highway 8 is resurfaced before <br />being turned over to the County. <br />The Clerk stated that the tax levy funds had been received from the County in the <br />amount of $20,273.61., <br />
