Meeting of the Council of Lino Lakes on March 11, 1963 <br />Members present as follows: Mayor Kelling; Trustee's Backlin, and Speiser, Heckenliable, <br />Clerk Hauer. <br />The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on motion by Backlin, second by <br />IIISpeiser, they be accepted es read. All voted in favor. <br />Motion by Kelling, second by Heckenliable, to issue shooting licenses for William <br />McConville. All voted in favor. <br />Ed Houle, accepted reappointment as Weed Inspector. ?Motion by Kelling, second by <br />Speiser, that Ed Houle could spend up to $50.00 for-pump for weed sprayers. All voted in <br />favor. <br />Mr. Heckenliable, reported that Dr.RIJ.c8pUtzemeof Anoka, 4dceptedrthe;:rposition:, ds <br />!ealth • Officer for Lino Lakes. Also reported. on the meeting at Lexington about the <br />telephone rates in this area. <br />Motion by Heckenliable, second by Backlin, for Attorney Babcock, to get 10 copies of <br />Junking Ordinance and Special Use Permits for Junk yards for village Constables and <br />Building Inspector to distribute to people concerned in such operations, followed by <br />strict enforcement of theinrovisions of the Ordinance. All voted in favor. <br />Mr. Heckenliable and Mr. Backlin, checked on the Rehbein Plat and found the homes were <br />fine in every respect. March 20, 1963, was the date set for the next meeting of the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Motion by Speiser, second 14 Backlin, that up to $100.00, be spent to complete the Park <br />cleaning. All voted in favor. <br />Motion by Backlin, second by Heckenliable, to buy 1954 Ford Tractor for $440.00. All <br />voted in favor. <br />Mr. Backlin, reported that the Planning Board approved 100 ft. right of way for the <br />future, <br />A request from Richard Lichstcheidl to operate a Barn Dance in a barn located on Main <br />Street, was referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Al Ross, reported the progress on State Aid for construction of Lilac Street, and other <br />Village Streets and proposed county cooperation on the Centerville Lake Park. <br />Motion by Kelling, second by Backlin, that the council pass a resolution supporting the <br />legislation before the state legislature to raise county commissioners salaries. <br />Heckenliable - -No, all the rest in favor, Carried. <br />Bills Audited: <br />1330 Babcock and Locher Legal Services <br />1331 Milner W.
