Domning read a letter received from the Minnesota Auto & Truck Salvage <br />Dealers Assn., concerning a conference to be held in St. Paul on the <br />problem of abandoned automobiles. Backlin 17.25 <br />Motion to adjourn at 9:45 p.m. <br />(for Clerk's information only: Check #119 is replacement for check #2225 <br />previously issued on 11/23/64). <br />Minute accept <br />* * * * * * * * * <br />-.. 22, 19b5, Clerk <br />Lino Lakes Council meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. on 2/22/65. <br />All members present. <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were read, and on motion by Anderson, <br />second by Backlin, were accepted as read. <br />Domning announced that Emily Rehbein did not wish to continue as Assessor <br />for 1965, and that a new Assessor should be appointed immediately so as <br />to be able to attend the school training session in March. Mrs. Sarner <br />was introduced as being a possible candidate, and was questioned by the <br />Council members as to her qualifications. <br />After discussion, Speiser moved and Backlin seconded that Mrs.sArner <br />be appointed Assessor for Lino Lakes for 1965. Motion carried unan. <br />Treasurer's report was read. Mrs. Dupre also informed the Council that <br />Improvement Bond #1 had been returned from the bank and was now paid in <br />full to date. Three paymeris are left. <br />Attorney Locher folbwed up the above information with a list of the <br />bonds issued, dates issued and the amounts of the bonds. He also indi- <br />cated that the village should set up sinking funds to cover these bonds. <br />Attorney Locher is going to meet with Mr. Campbell, County Auditor, <br />to try and collect hte gopher bounties for the village due from 1964. <br />After discussion on payments due to Lena Billik for park property <br />purchased, Domning moved and Anderson seconded to have the attorney <br />bring the abstract up to date and if a deed is not on record, to obtain <br />one. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
