100 Mrs. Ross, Lino Store, asked about having a sign put up on the intersec- tion of Highway 8 and Main Street, indicating directions and mileages to Anoka, Centerville, Forest Lake etc. Mr. Gottwald reported on his meeting with Mr. Sullivan, the Circle Pines Engineer, on the oversizing of the sewer lines being laid. Following discussion of the matter, Mr. Backlin moved, and Mr. Speiser seconded, that the engineer continue with the study on this matter. On the vote, Anderson no, Speiser, yes, Backlin yes, Zelinka yes, Domning yes. A request by Kenneth Bryant for the Civil Defense to buy Caps was approved. Mr. Domning moved, Mr. Anderson seconded, a resolution that we allow the County to be our agent in the Disaster Relief Program. Motion carried. Anderson moved, Speiser seconded that the following bills be paid: #246 - Gordon's Corner, hardware $ 5.59 247 - Mlller,Davis, office supplies 2.75 248 - Moga & Speiser, gas, oil, maintenance 31.13 249 - Centerville Garage, maintenance of equip. 35.08 250 - N.W. Bell Telephone 6.75 251 - Hennepin Blacktopping, rd repair material 8.55 252 - Dr. Gary Good, office call for 1963 for LeVesseur 15.60 253 - Lino Store, gas and oil 62.49 254 - Northern States Power 22.82 255 - Northern States Power and 70.83 Meeting adjourned at 10:50 p.m. // Minut s accer June 14,1965, Clerk Lino Lakes Council Meeting of June 14 was called to order at 8 :15 p.m. All members present. Minutes were presented, correction made on description of property discussed with Mr. Burque from Centerville. Speiser moved, Anderson seconded, that minutes be accepted as read and corrected. Motion carried. Zelinka reported the books for 1964 had been turned over to the Auditor, and the ordinance book was up to date and ready for printing. Backlin informed Mr. Hammer of Oak Lane that a culvert would be put in and his driveway repaired in the next week. Domning reported that he and Mr. Backlin attended a meeting the previous III week with Anoka and Washington County Engineers, and Mr. McCubrey of the Minnesota Highway Dept, concerning a by -pass on Main Street. Final conclusion of this meeting. appeared to be that if the weather held good the State would be able to complete a bridge at the proposed crossing of County Road 14 and 35E and a temporary crossing connected to provide a by -pass.
