All members present. <br />Minutes were read and corrected. Moved by Ross we accept as corrected, <br />second by L'Allier, motion carried. <br />Treasurer's report was given, balance on hand 318,027.71, +110,000 in <br />securities. Moved by Domning to make the $4,000 transfer from General <br />Fund to R&B Fund a permanent transfer. Second by L'Allier, motion carried. <br />It was moved by Zelinka to remove from the books, according to the recom- <br />mendation of the Auditor, an old check in the amount of 372.10(?) which was <br />several years old, and which had been carried over from year to year in order <br />to balance. Second by Damning, motion carried. <br />Backlin moved that we return the bond check to Richard Schuh on the gravel. <br />The check is in the possession of the engineer, who will return. same. <br />Second by L'Allier, motion carried. <br />Parked cars on village streets which has hindered snow plowing was dis- <br />cussed. Domning moved that Locher investigate further the state statute <br />and whether it would cover the village, also the Fridley ordinance per- <br />taining to such parking. Locher is to determine if an ordinance should <br />be written forthe village. Second by Ross, motion carried. <br />Backlin will have Mr. Thies furnish proof of his ownership of the property <br />purchased for the easement, and the clerk will prepare a check in the <br />amount of 3300.00 to be released upon receipt of above proof. <br />Pete Scherer stated his road had not yet been plowed, and Mr. Backlin <br />agreed to contact Jake Lundheim further on this matter. <br />Ross reported that according to Dave Listner, the City Manager of Blaine, <br />the problem with 101st Lane ("T" street leading from Centennial school to <br />Sunset Avenue) will be taken care of first thing in the spring when the <br />street will be finished in some manner to prevent the sand from blowing. <br />
