Motion carried.
In reviewing the minutes of May 12, 1975, Mr. Zelinka asked that the
following correction be made: Page 3, paragraph 6, delete the word
'insurance' and insert the word 'Ordinance'. A special communication
channel for City related outages will be set up soon. In reference to
this, Mr. Jaworski wondered why all electric lines are not buried. Mr.
Marier felt that service lines could be and are most always buried, but
transmission lines are another problem. Mr. Jaowrski thought this should
be investigated. Mr. Marier moved to have Mr. Jaworski check into this
and report back at the next Council meeting. Seconded by Mayor Bohjanen
Motion carried.
...Reported the receipt of $204.84 in municipal fines for the month of April.
...Read a letter from Senator Robert Stassen in referance to the Metropolitan
Land Use Bill and agreeing that more study is needed before this bill is
passed.
... Read a letter from Representative Neisen thanking the Council for their
cooperation this past session and informing them that if any problems
develop that he can assist with, he will be available at his home address.
...The official notification of the Certification of Exclusive Representative
by Local 320 for the Police Department had been received and posted. This
notification lifts the 'Cease and Desist Order' imposed on February 3, 1975.
...Representative Neisen had sent the latest revised version of the Metro-
politan Land Use Bill. The Clerk was instructed to make copies for all
Council members.
Mr. Marier reported on the Planning and Zoning Board Meeting held on May
21, 1975. Mr. Harvey Chesebrough had appeared to request permission to
erect a 30'x60' steel storage building to house cars, camping bus, etc.
This will be covered with colored steel panels. Mr. Burque had applied for a permit
in 1973, paid for it but had not received the permit. He has not done any
excavating but has plans for doing some work this summer.
