I CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 JULY 28, 2015 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 <br />Present: <br />Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Brever, Gray, Jenson, and Stille. <br />16 <br />Absent: <br />None. <br />17 <br />Also Present: <br />City Manager Mark Casey. <br />18 <br />Guest: <br />Police Chief John Ohl, Sergeant Jon Mangseth, Officer Jeronimo Yanez. <br />19 <br />20 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />21 <br />ITEMS. <br />22 <br />23 I. APPROVAL OF THE JULY 28, 2015, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />24 <br />25 Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Brever, to approve the City <br />26 Council Meeting Agenda of July 28, 2015. <br />27 <br />28 Motion carried unanimously. <br />29 <br />30 I1. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />31 <br />32 A. Presentation of Night to Unite by John Ohl, Police Chief. <br />33 <br />34 Police Chief Ohl introduced Sergeant Jon Mangseth and Officer Jeronimo Yanez to the Council. <br />35 <br />36 Sergeant Mangseth made a presentation to the Council on the history and accomplishments of <br />37 Night to Unite. <br />38 <br />39 Mayor Faust stated the Council is proud of their Police Department and the officers and thinks <br />40 the vast majority of people are supportive of the police. He understood it was very difficult to <br />41 keep their heads high but he wanted them to remember that the Council and City staff are there <br />42 for the officers and Police Department. He thanked the officers for all they do in the community. <br />43 <br />44 Officer Yanez made a presentation to the Council about what the Police Department does. He <br />45 reviewed the services offered in the City through the Police Department. He noted the Citizen <br />46 Academy was a very popular service. <br />47 <br />48 B. Proclamation for Night to Unite on August 4, 2015. <br />49 <br />50 Councilmember Brever recited the Proclamation for Night to Unite on August 4, 2015. <br />
