ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 MAY 10, 2016 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 Present: Mayor Faust Councilmembers Brever, Gray, Jenson and Stille <br />14 Absent: None <br />15 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Police Officer Brandon Hess, Police Officer Trent Studer, <br />16 Police Chief John Ohl, Captain Dominic Cotroneo, Stacie Kvilvang, Ehlers & <br />17 Associates, and City Engineer Todd Hubmer, <br />18 <br />19 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />20 ITEMS. <br />21 <br />22 I. APPROVAL OF THE MAY 10, 2016, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />23 <br />24 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Brever, to approve the City <br />25 Council Meeting Agenda of May 10, 2016. <br />26 <br />27 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />28 <br />29 17. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />30 <br />31 A. Swearing in of St. Anthony Village Police Officer Brandon Hess <br />32 <br />33 Chief John Ohl introduced and gave a brief background of Brandon Hess. Mayor Faust swore in <br />34 Brandon Hess as an officer of the St. Anthony Village Police Department. <br />35 <br />36 B. Swearing in of St. Anthony Village Police Officer Trent Studer <br />37 <br />38 Chief John Ohl introduced and gave a brief background of Trent Studer. Mayor Faust swore in <br />39 Trent Studer as an officer of the St. Anthony Village Police Department. <br />40 <br />41 Mayor Faust thanked the families of Brandon Hess and Trent Studer for their support. <br />42 <br />43 C. Retiring Police Chief John Ohl and Captain Dominic Cotroneo Presentation <br />44 <br />45 City Manager Mark Casey reviewed Chief John Ohl and Captain Dominic Cotroneo will be <br />46 retiring from St. Anthony Police Department. <br />47 <br />48 Captain Dominic Cotroneo said goodbye to the City and thanked the Council and residents for <br />49 their support throughout the years. Councilmember Jensen stated his children remarked on what <br />50 a nice person Captain Cotroneo was with the DARE program. Councilmember Stille thanked <br />
