Ciernia moved adoption of Resolution <br />R-91-36 which carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-91-36 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY'S ASSESSMENT POLICY <br />PROPOSED RESOLUTION AMENDING ASSESSMENT POLICY TO ALLOW DEFERRAL <br />OF PRINCIPAL AND INTREST FOR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP <br />Council discussed the proposed amendment of the assessment <br />policy to allow deferral of principal and interest for financial <br />hardship, after which Wallin moved adoption of Resolution <br />R-91-37 including language specifying that the annual gross <br />income from all sources shall be 50 percent or less than the <br />latest median income. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-91-37 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY'S ASSESSMENT POLICY <br />RELATING TO HARDSHIP DEFERRALS <br />APPROVAL OF DEFERRAL OF PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST ON ASSESSMENT <br />AGAINST THE PROPERTY AT 1739 N. FRY <br />Council briefly discussed the request from Viola Gulden, 1739 N. <br />Fry, for deferral of principal and interest for the 1991 Street <br />Improvement assessment after which Gehrz moved adoption of <br />Resolution R-91-38. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-91-38 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING DEFERRAL OF BOTH PRINCIPAL AND <br />INTEREST WITH COMPOUNDING OF INTEREST ON THE SAME (1739 <br />N. FRY ST.) <br />PROPOSED RESOLUTION URGING RAMSEY COUNTY TO ADOPT THE LOCAL <br />OPTION SALES TAX <br />Council discussed issues relating to the sales tax which was <br />adopted by the State Legislature at the last session. Both <br />Ciernia and Baldwin presented additional language to be included <br />in the proposed resolution after which Wallin moved adoption of <br />Resolution R-91-39 including the additions.
