<br />1 <br />MINUTES ~i <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING 1 <br />JULY 26, 1978 <br />Page 3 <br />Engineer Lemberg reviewed the temporary easement drawn ROSELAWN AVE <br />up by the U of M. which states in part; Thy University EASEMENT <br />agrees to grant to Falcon Heights a perpetual ease- RESOLUTION 78-20 <br />ment for street and utility purposes over, across and {cont.} <br />through the property described in Exhibit B attached <br />hereto, subject to the terms and conditions herein <br />contained. The City of Falcon Heights agrees to pay <br />the University for said easements the sum of X2,139. <br />Acting Mayor Black moved adoption of Resolution 78-20 <br />seconded by Councilmember Brown. Upon a vote being <br />taken the following voted ^aye^: Acting Mayor Black, <br />Councilmembers McGough, Steele and Brown and the follow- <br />ing voted ^nay^: None. Motion carried. <br />Acting Mayor Black presented a report submitted by <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes regarding the current and <br />proposed health insurance program for the City <br />employees. After council discussion, Acting Mayor <br />Black moved approval of Plan 4, Blue Cross/Blue Shield <br />premium to be paid by the City of Falcon Heights for <br />the six listed employees, that consdental with <br />purchasing this coverage effective Aug. 1, 1978 we <br />cancel our present coverage effective Aug. 1, 1978. <br />Acting Mayor Black-:amended the motion, seconded by <br />Councilmember Steele to - seven listed city employees <br />which would include Clerk Administrator Barnes; <br />Employees Covered - Blue Cross/Blue Shield <br />Dewan B. Barnes <br />Janice A. Cheney <br />Alan Rolek <br />Vincent Wright <br />Charles Dailey <br />George Willkom <br />John Sosniecki <br /> <br />upon a vote being taken the following voted ^aye^: <br />Acting Mayor Black, Councilmembers McGough, Steele <br />and Brown and the following voted ^nay^: None. <br />Motion carried. <br />INSURANCE <br />PROGRAM <br />CITY EMPLOYEES <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced Mr. Chris Clauson, repre- YOUTH SERVICE <br />sentative of the Youth Service Bureau. Mr. Clauson BUREAU <br />appeared before council to review the services of CHRIS CLAUSON <br />the Youth Service Bureau and answer any questions <br />the council may have regarding their programs. Mayor <br />Warkentien thanked Mr. Clauson for his time. <br />Councilmember Brown briefed council on their meeting RECREATION <br />that was held jointly with the Park Development ADVISORY/ <br />Committee. PARK DEVELOPMENT <br />Councilmember Steele discussed the various projects <br />that the Park Development Committee initiated for <br />completion before the end of the 1978 program. It. <br />
