No council action <br />taken,. <br />~~~ti <br />Council discussed Mr. Richard Moore's letter to council requesting a RICHARD MOORE <br />parking permit on Folwell as they own three cars and do not have room 2190 FOLWELL <br />to park them all in the driveway. Request denied, council directed <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes write Mr. Moore and inform him of council's <br />action. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes submitted for approval the 1978 audit <br />proposal prepared by Geo. M. Hansen and Associates to audit the books <br />of the City of Falcon Heights. Councilmember Steele moved to approve <br />the proposal, not to exceed $11,200.00, seconded by Counci7member McGough. <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Councilmembers <br />Black, McGough, Steele and Brown and the following voted "nay": Mayor <br />Warkentien. Motion carried. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes requested council approval to contact <br />Ramsey County to do the snow plowing and sanding for the 1978-1979 <br />season, and post load limit signs in the spring. Mayor Warkentien <br />moved, seconded by Councilmember Black to approve snow plowing by <br />Ramsey County and post load limit signs for the 1978-1979 season and <br />direct Clerk Administrator Barnes to write Ramsey County Engineering a <br />and inform them of council's action. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Black presented a variance request for a garage located <br />at 1.!117 W. Califo~+nia, Larry Frattalone residence; the garage is to <br />be constructed 2' from the side lot line and 8' from the rear lot line. <br />The Planning Commission recommended approval it being consistant with <br />similar-requests which have been received from the Northome area. <br />Councilmember Black moved, seconded by Counci7member Steele to approve <br />the variance request as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. <br />GEO. M. HANSEN <br />& ASSOC. 1978 <br />AUDIT <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />SNOW PLOWING <br />78-79 SEASON <br />VARIANCE <br />L. FRATTALONE <br />7.111.7 CALIFORNI <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes informed council there had been some complaints DRAPES FOR <br />regarding the blinds and drapes currently in the City offices at City CITY OFFICES <br />Ha11 and requested authorization to purchase new drapes. There are <br />funds available in the Building Maintenance Account. Mayor Warkentien <br />moved, seconded by Counci7member McGough to approve purchase of drapes <br />for the City offices. Motion carried una,nimous7.y. <br />Attorney Kenefick reported to council that he had talked with John Dean, FULHAM <br />attorney for Lauderdale. Mr. Dean informed him that Lauderdale is FOLWELL <br />investigating easesaent problems involving Mr. Smiths property at STORM SEWER <br />Fulham Street. Lauderdale Engineers are conducting a survery at no cost <br />to Falcon Heights. General concern was expressed regarding weather <br />conditions in hopes the repair of the storm sewer could be completed <br />before winter. <br />Attorney Kenefick stated he had drafted the consent form for tree reanoval CONSENT FORM <br />on private property for either city employees or contractors. The TREE REMOVAL <br />consent expires upon the completion of the removal. It does not con- <br />stitue awaiver to file a claim against the City for damages, that right <br />
