Upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers McGough, <br />Kurpiewski, and Brown, and the following voted "nay": None. Council- <br />__. . <br />mem er teele abstained. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien requested approval of John i~.. Menz as Volunteer Fire- JOHN R. MENZ <br />man. Councilmember McGough moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, that VOLUNTEER <br />the application of John R. Menz for Volunteer Fireman in the City of FIREMAN <br />Falcon Heights, be accepted. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember McGough, that the MASTER GAS <br />application for Master Gas Installers License #351, Central Air Condi- INSTALLERS <br />tinning and Heating, 1971 Seneca Road, Eagan, Mn., be approved. Motion LICENSE #351 <br />carried unanimously. <br />Attorney Kenefick informed Council regarding a totter from Samuel Koritz, FIRE LANE <br />attorney for Norbert Hermes, in regard to the Fire Lane (Bullseye) 1601 1601 W. LARP. <br />W, Larpenteur. He explained that the letter is merely a request that the BULLSEYE <br />City reconsider the changing of the location of the Fire Lane. <br />Councilmember McGough moved, seconded by Councilmernber Brown, to authorize <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes to send a letter to Mr. Norbert Hermes.. giving <br />him until June 11, 1979 to restripe and provide proper signing in the <br />Bullseye Parking Lot, in accordance with Resolution 79- l3 or the City will <br />then have the restriping and signing done and assess Mr. Hermes. Motion carried <br />unanimously, <br />FIRE DEPART- <br />MENT ELECTION <br />AND APPOINT- <br />MENTS <br />Councilmember IJIcGough moved, seconded by Councilmernber Steele, that Assistant <br />Chiefs Bianchi and .Lindig b© appointed for a 3 year term, Captains Pantzar and <br />Dowdell be appointed for a 1 year term, and Lieutenants Holmgren and Schauf'fert <br />be appointed for a 1 yoar term. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor 4arkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Kurpiewski, that Clerk BAD CHECKS <br />Adrnin:istrator Barnes be authorized to draw off bad checks for the Liquor DRAWN OFF <br />Store from January 22, 1971 throt~;h October 1l~, 1978 as uncollectible, in LIQUOR STORE <br />the amount of X333.05• Motion carried unanimously. <br />
