Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, to <br />designate George M. Hansen Company as the official Auditing <br />Firm for the general and sinking funds for 1974. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, <br />to designate Ralph Z. Yellen and Company as the official <br />Auditing Fir~:~f or the Falcon Heights liquor fund for 1974. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien requested those that were present for the <br />Harry Gilbert property subdivision puB~lic hearing if they <br />would object to delaying the hearing until after the "No <br />Build" area discussion was held. All present and interested <br />agreed. to the Mayor's request. <br />Engineer Lemberg read his letter of recommendation and pr.- <br />sented his map showing the outline of the "No Build" aret:, <br />which documents were designated Exhibit "A" and which were <br />filed with the Clerk. A discussion on the "No Build" area <br />was held as to its accuracy, and it was proposed that a <br />survey be made. Attorney Kenefick suggested if Exhibit "A" <br />was generally .accurate, the Council could adopt it and file <br />it with the County Registrar of Deeds Assessor, Surveyor, <br />and at that time they might inquire about a survey. <br />Councilman Steele introduced the following Resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />AUDITING FIRM <br />GENERAL _ SINKING <br />AUDITING FIRM <br />LIQUOR FUND <br />RESOLUTION #75-4 <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE "NO BUILD" AREA BETWEEN NO BUILD AREA <br />FAIRVIEW AVENUE AND LINDIG STREET NORTH OF LARPENTEUR <br />AVENUE AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT "A" SUBMITTED BY ENGINEER <br />LEMBERG AND WHICH IS ON FILE IN THE CLERK-ADMINISTRATORtS <br />OFFICE <br />Councilman Ecklund seconded the foregoing Resolution, and upon <br />a vote being taken, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the <br />following voted against the same: None. Motion carried. <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes was directed to file Exhibit "A-' with <br />the Ramsey County Registrar of Deeds, Surveyor, Assessor.and to <br />mail copies to all property owners concerned. <br />i' <br />Mayor Warkentien opened the public hearing to consider the sub- GILBERT SUBDIVISION <br />division request of Harry Gilbert to subdivide the following <br />legally described property: The South 96.38 feet of the East 495 <br />feet of the North 1345.14 feet of the SW 1/4 of Section 16, Township <br />29, Range 23, according to the Government Survey thereof, subject <br />to New Brighton Road. <br />Mr. Leonard Vanek, representing Mr. Gilberts withdrew the subdivision <br />application, at this time, as the property concerned was included in <br />the "No Build" area. The Council permitted the withdrawal and took <br />no further action. <br />Mayor Warkentien opened the public hearing to consider the subdivision <br />request of the Luther L. Johnson property legally described as: Except JOHNSON <br />the East 25 feet, the North 150 feet, of the South 825 feet, of the SUBDIVISION <br />South 825 feet of the East 1/3 of the NW 1/4 of East 60 acres of the <br />SW 1/4 of Section 16, Township 29, Range 23• <br />~__..
