~, <br />1 <br />-~~/ <br />Attorney K enefick presented the discussion on the proposed Food and Health PROPOSED FOOD <br />Ordinance. A lengthy discussion followed, centering on inspection fees and AND HEALTH <br />inspection of food establishments in Falcon Heights. Councilman ORDINANCE <br />Labalestra moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to table the Food and DISCUSSION <br />Health Ordinance until such a time when there is a full Council for <br />decision. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkenti en, Councilmen Black and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": <br />None. Motion carried. <br />The discussion on signs .for the Falcon Heights Park was tabled until the PARK SIGNS <br />next meeting when more information would be available. <br />Engineer Lemberg presented the discussion on the horseshoe court for the HORSESHOES <br />Falcon Heights Community Park, and noted he would be contacting contractors <br />in regard to this. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, to approve the PAINTING OF <br />proposal to have Bill Garlick and Vincent Wright paint the Municipal Liquor LIQUOR STORE <br />Store on weekends, at $7.00 per hour, for approximately 6~. hours, with the ON WEEKENDS <br />City to provide the materials. Upon a vote being taken, the following <br />voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black and Labalestra, and the <br />following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra moved, secoxded by Mayor Warkentien, to appoint the <br />firm of Retail Inventory Service to do the liquor store inventory on July 7, <br />1975 at 6:00 p.m., at a fee not to exceed $125.00 Upon a vote being taken, <br />the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black and <br />Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />A discussion was held relative to Liquor Store Manager George Willkom's <br />health insurance. It was noted he had been accepted by American Benefit <br />Insurance Company, and premiums were discussed. Councilman Labalestra <br />moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to authorize C1erk,Administrator <br />Barnes to pay George Willkom $38.80 per month toward the premium of <br />American Benefit Insurance Company. Upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black and Labalestra, <br />and the following voted ~?~kay" : None. Motion carried. <br />RETAIL INVENTORY <br />LIQUOR STORE <br />MANAGER GEORGE <br />WILLKOM'S HEALTH <br />INSURANCE <br />DISCUSSION <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, to approve the PURCHASE OF <br />purchase of a Series 200 Torrent Pump and 750 feet of hose for the Snelling PUMP FOR <br />and Idaho flood area for the amount of $815.00 Upon a vote being taken, SNELLING AND <br />the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black and IDASO FLOOD <br />Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. AREA <br />Engineer Lemberg discussed the application for subdivision of the Gilbert GII,BERT <br />property between Lindig and Fairview Street. He presented a map and a PROPERTY <br />letter that indicated the area is designated "No Build" due to lack of SUBDIVISION <br />existing storm sewer, wh~~ch is occasionally inundated during spring thaw. DISCUSSION <br />Also discussed was the possibility of City liability in the future should <br />a building permit be issued. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, to accept <br />Engineer Lemberg's report, and to submit a copy to the Planning Commission <br />Chairman. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": <br />None . 2iotion carried. <br />Fire Reports 39 through !~2 were noted by the Council. It was requested <br />these reports be tabled until the next meeting, when a discussion could be FIRE REPORTS <br />held on the one concerning NSP and the number of men on standby. <br />~~ <br />
