<br />Mayor Warkentien reported on a meeting he attended concerning <br />a Youth Services Bur®au which would work with youth who may <br />have delinquency problems. This Bureau would provide counsel- <br />ing to individuals and faYei.lies. <br />Moved by Mayor Warkentien, seconded br Councilman Labalestra <br />that Barbara Whitmore and Dennis Rau of the Northwest Suburban <br />Youth Services Bureau be invited to give a p resentation to <br />Council at the meeting of February 12, 1976, regarding the <br />' function and objectives of the Bureau. Upon a vote being taken, <br />the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": <br />None. Motion carried. <br />i <br />,-3 <br />NORTHWEST <br />SUBURBAN <br />YOUTH SERVICES <br />BUREAU <br />Moved by Councilman Slack, seconded by Councilman Ecklund to MASTERS GAS <br />approve Masters Gas Installers License #328 issued to Donal G. INSTALLERS <br />Ruden, Air Comfort, Inc., 3300 Gorham Avenue, Minneapolis, LICENSE #328: <br />Minnesota. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": AIR COMFORT, <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Steele, and INC. <br />the following abstained: Councilman Labalestra. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Steele, s®conded by Councilman Labalestra CIGARETTE <br />to approve Cigarette License #!G!}0 issued to the Falcon Heights LICENSE #I~l.t.0: <br />Municipal Liquor Store. Upon a vote being taken, the following MUNICIPAL <br />voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, LIQUOR STORE <br />and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay's: None.. Motion <br />carried . <br />The Clerk-Administrator was directed to itnvestigate plumbing and <br />gas insp®ction fees in surrounding comununities and compare them <br />with those charged by Falcon Heights. This report is to be sub- <br />mitted at the next Council meeting, February 12, 1976. <br />Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Ordinance and moved <br />its adoption: <br />ORDINANCE N0. 1l~5 <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE OPERATION OF SNOWN~DBII.ES <br />AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 99 OF THE CITY OF FALCON <br />HEIGHTS <br />Councilman Black seconded the foregoing motion to adopt Ordinance <br />No. 1~, and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in <br />favor thereof <br />PROPOSED <br />AGR.EEMEAITS: <br />PLUMBING AND <br />GAS <br />IIJSPECTORS <br />ORDINANCE <br />N0. 1~t5: <br />RELATING TO <br />THE OPERATION <br />OF SNOW- <br />MOBILES <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steel®, and Labalestra, <br />and the following voted against: Non®. Motion carried. <br />Action was deferred on the Sheriff's Contract for 1976 with RAMSEY COUNTY <br />Ramsey County until an answer was received from Lauderdale on SHERIF'F'S <br />a 3oint policing agreement.
