~J <br />1 <br />Minutes <br />April 8, 1976 <br />Page Four <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PLACEMENT OF <br />LIMITED PARKING SIGNS, WITH THE COST TO BE <br />PAID BY HERMES SHOPPING CENTER, AND EN- <br />FORCEMENT OF SAME <br />Councilman Black seconded the foregoing resolution, and upon <br />a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warken- <br />tien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalsstra, and <br />the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />The Village Engineer is to authorize placement of the signs. <br />The cost of the signs is to be paid by the shopping center <br />and policing will be enforced after the signs are installed. <br />RESOLUTION <br />N0. 76-11: <br />(CONT.) <br />Moved by Mayor Warkentien, seconded by Councilman Ecklund to BICENTENNIAL <br />approve the contract with Dan's Ramblers, 727 Margaret Street, ENTERTAINMENT <br />Saint Paul, for music for the Bicentennial Celebration dance, AGREEMENT <br />to be held May 26, 1976, in the amount of $180.00, which is to <br />b• prepaid. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalsstra, <br />and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Ecklund introduced the following resolution, and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-12 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BIDS FOR 1976 <br />SEALCOATING AND PATCHING AND SETTING A <br />DATE FOR BIDS, WITH THE OPTION OF GARDEN <br />AVENUE BEING ADDED <br />Councilman Steele seconded the foregoing resolution, and upon <br />a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warken- <br />tien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalsstra, and <br />the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Ecklund introduced the following resolution, and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-13 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BIDS FOR 1976 <br />Il~ROVEMENT PROJECTS AND SETTING A <br />DATE FOR BIDS <br />Councilman Steele seconded the foregoing resolution, and upon <br />a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warken- <br />tien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalsstra, and <br />the following voted "nay": None.
