<br />Minutes <br />June 10, 1976 <br />Page Four <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Councilman Ecklund <br />to adopt Resolution No. 76-27 PERTAINING TO TIIC PREZIt~IINARY <br />APPROVAL OF THE SURVEY, SUBDIVISION, AND VARIANCE FOR LOT SUB- <br />DIVISION for Glenn 0. Martin, 3263 Sandeert Road, for a lot <br />located at 1765 Fairview Avenue, as submitted by Mr. Martin, <br />referring the survey to the Planning Commission on June ll~, <br />1976, waiving time periods expressed in the subdivision ordinance, <br />and authorizing publication of notice of a public hearing on <br />said subdivision to be held at 8:00 p.m. on June 21~, 1976. Upon <br />a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following <br />voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Councilman Steele <br />that improvement of the Community Park parking lot be recon- <br />sidered and included in 1976 Street Maintenance and Seal Coating <br />projects. Upon a vote beitag taken, the following voted "ayer': <br />Mayor ~larkentien, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, <br />and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra introduced toe following resolution and <br />moped its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-2~ <br />A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION N0. 76-20 AND <br />INCLUDING IP~'ROVEMENT OF THE COMMUNITY PARK PARKING <br />LUT IN THE 1976 STREET MAINTENANCE AND SEAL COATING <br />CONTRACT WITH ALLIED BLACKTOP COr~ANY IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $x.,520.66 TO BE PAID FRIJM THE GENERAL FUND <br />Mayor Warkentien seconded the foregoing resolution and upon a <br />vote being taken, the following voted r'aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following <br />voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Peter McGough, 1977 Summer Street West, stated he had noticed <br />the trails for hiking in the Community Park were in need of <br />weed removal. He offered to supply weed detenoent chemical to <br />help alleviate the problem. <br />The following bids were received for 1976 Municipal Improvement <br />Projects: <br />C. S.
